When to call
Signs your panel should be checked
Any of these is a good reason to book an assessment. None of them automatically means you need a new panel.
Breakers keep tripping
Repeated trips can point to an overloaded circuit or a panel at its limit.
Corrosion, heat or scorch marks
Rust, discoloration or a warm panel cover should be looked at soon.
Lights dim or flicker
Especially when the AC, dryer or microwave starts up.
Adding an EV charger or heat pump
New loads need a capacity check before they are installed.
Meter socket corrosion found during a panel assessment.
Not sure what you need? Call or text a description or a photo of your panel. We’ll tell you whether an assessment makes sense.

On-site assessment
We check your existing equipment, capacity and what the utility will require.
Clear scope and estimate
You get a clear scope and estimate, with scheduling planned around any PG&E work.
How it works
Three steps to a clear plan
Plan ahead
How long PG&E can take
Most of the wait on a service upgrade is the utility, not the installation. We help you plan for it from day one.
2–4 weeks
Simple upgrades and panel swaps
The typical PG&E application process when no utility infrastructure changes are needed.
3–6 months
Upgrades with infrastructure changes
For example larger conduit or wire, a transformer upgrade, or moving a panel away from a gas meter.
These are planning estimates, not guaranteed dates. Timing depends on PG&E and your project’s requirements.
-
Not always. We check your available capacity and the charger’s requirements first, and only recommend an upgrade if your panel can’t safely carry the new load.
-
Your existing equipment, the capacity you need, where the panel is located and any utility or infrastructure work. That’s why an assessment comes before a clear estimate.
-
Most of the timeline is PG&E: roughly 2-4 weeks for simple upgrades and swaps, and 3-6 months when infrastructure changes are needed. We schedule the installation around the utility.
-
Yes. Text a photo of your panel and a short description to 707-280-0805 and we’ll tell you whether an on-site assessment makes sense.
